Crasher's Inc. was started in the summer of 2006 by Allen Clark (Brotha Train), Tyrone Harrison( Ty-Fi or Ty), and Terrence Jones(Maveryk). It all began with a vacation to South Beach, one of the biggest party cities of the world; Ty saw the potential for nightlife in the Tri-State area. Ty came home to a rude awakening; most urban audiences are too concerned with its image more than having a good time. So Ty and his longtime friend Mav began to go to local clubs, and spent 80% of their time there on the dance floor, neither of them are professional dancers but they managed to wow fellow club goers by simply enjoying themselves. "Many times we would go to clubs, just me and Ty and we'd be dancing 'acting stupid' on the dance floor, when we looked up it would be a crowd around us cheering us on" states Maveryk. It got to a point where we would come to a dead (boring) party, dance for a while and totally change the energy of an event. After a night of partying Ty and Maveryk went to a diner, when Mav said to Ty "Yo instead of crashing other parties we should throw our own parties" this idea was brought to the attention of Brotha Train a locally acclaimed poet/spoken word artist, who has performed on many stages in an out of the Tri-State area as well as performed on Philadelphia's own local radio station Power99 FM. Train being an artist, noticed that local artist whether they be independent or signed to a major label, do not get good promotion. So the founding members along with our #1 Dj(Dj K.B. aka Mr. Get Like Me) devised a plan to promote quality artist as well as provide an entertainment unmatched in Philadelphia nightlife. But the newly formed Crasher's Inc. were still missing a link in their chain, and along came Elle an urban socialite, jack of all trades, who had just the right connections and business savvy to get the job done. With Elle’s experience and connections in the industry, Crasher’s Inc. was able to land celebrity host, performers, and Dj’s. Crasher's Inc. has a slogan "The party just got here" meaning whenever we step into a room the energy of an event changes. Being a Crasher is being more than a promoter, it’s being able to control your environment by adding a certain level of entertainment, while captivating an audience which only few embody.
